Even though we're all gifted the same 168 hours (or 10,800 minutes) per week, the degree to which we productively use our time varies greatly. Which is why I like to work smart.

Hallelujah for Apps. There are literally thousands of apps out there, ready to be discovered at just a click of a button. In this short and sweet article, I'm sharing my 3 favourite apps.

I use each regularly and they save me a huge amount of time and energy.

1. Grammarly.

I love Grammarly. If you write ANYTHING, you need Grammarly in your life. Grammarly checks your writing for spelling mistakes and grammatical errors as you type. Meaning any embarrassing misspelt sentences or words in your Social Media updates, Emails or important documents are brought to your attention. Grammarly gives me peace of mind. Especially if English isn't your native language and your conscious of making mistakes. Mistakes happen, Grammarly helps you avoid them. Get started at https://app.grammarly.com/

2. Acuity.

When I first started my business, I wasted a lot of time scheduling meetings and client calls.

Emails: back and forth, back and forth. There is an easier option: scheduling software. You simply add your availability to your schedule, share, and people can book a date and time that suits. Simples. Different time zones are automatically taken into account so no worries if those booking live in a different time zone to you. Those around me swear by Acuity https://acuityscheduling.com/

and I've been happily using Timetrade for nearly 4 years https://www.timetrade.com/

3. Insight Timer.

Insight Timer helps me with two areas of my life. Mindfulness and Productivity.

Insight Timer boasts a huge catalogue of guided meditations so if you're into Meditation and mindfulness, this app is for you. Whether you have 5 minutes or 5 hours, you'll find a meditation to suit you. Not only does Insight timer support me with my meditation practice, but its timer function also allows me to work productively. I set the timer for 50 minutes and get busy. Once the timer goes off, I take a break for around 5-10 minutes. Working in this way allows for focused and productive work. Plus the timer comes with various relaxing backing tracks.

Find Insight Timer in your phone's app store.
