Who the hell do YOU think you are?
During an inspiring chat with fellow Coach, Louise Armstrong this morning, we spoke about that voice.
Yes, THAT voice, you know the one.
The voice that pops up in the very moments you need reassurance and support- moments when you decide to step up and create one of your 'crazy dreams'.
'Who the hell do you think you are to be so great'? the voice spits.
'What makes you think YOU can do this'?
Let me ask you another question;
How does it serve anyone when we play it safe?
Imagine if the great leaders, creatives, and innovators of the world hadn't the courage to push past the voice that asks 'who the hell do you think you are'?
Imagine how different the world would look.
A dark, cold world full of people, fearful to shine.
Don't get me wrong, it's scary stepping into our true potential.
We worry people will take the mick, mock us or even worse, voice the question 'Who the hell do you think you are'?
What if there was another perspective...
How much more empowering would it be to imagine the people who benefit from you stepping into your greatness? The people in the world who need you and what you have to offer.
There are people out in the world right now whose live' s would be positively impacted by you and your gifts.
People whom you are doing a disservice by keeping your greatness to yourself.
No matter what you believe, you have something special to offer, we all do.
The world needs you and your gifts,
Get out there, whatever you're doing, and do it with greatness, who are you NOT to?
